Q: Why did SEGA De-List Sonic 1,CD,2,and 3? ![]() On May 20th, 2022, SEGA Delisted Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic CD, and Sonic 3 & Knuckles in anticipation of Sonic Origins this left the Decompilations of RSDKv3 & 4 by RubberDuck圜ooly unaffected but was a major blow to Sonic 3: Angel Island Revisited as that was the only available way to obtain a copy of Sonic 3 & Knuckles from SEGA themselves and given Sonic 3's Musical Legality History - it didn't seem like they were going to re-release it unchanged as such the ROM they'd put out may not even work with Sonic 3: Angel Island Revisited.Įukaryot attempted to address this in an update that added support for Sonic 3D Blast but the Idea fell through leaving Sonic 3: Angel Island Revisited with only compatibility for a Sonic 3 & Knuckles ROM.
